International Conference
“Gauge Theories and Poisson Geometry”
24-28 November 2025 – Arpino, Italy
Scientific Purpose
The conference will cover a variety of topics at the interface of geometry and
theoretical physics. From the physics side, those include (but are not limited
to) questions from field theory, motivated by the study of gravity, as well as
quantization problems. From the mathematics side, we will pay special attention
to Poisson geometry and related contemporary constructions. We will also
focus on recent advancements in graded geometry from purely mathematical
perspective, as well as in application to gauge theories. We plan a special series
of lectures on the developments of the Poisson sigma model.
Knowing that the number of participants is limited, those interested are requested to declare their intent to participate as soon as possible
Venue
The Conference will be held in Arpino, a city in Central Italy, about 2 hours drive from Rome.
The talks and most of the activities will take place in the Il Cavalier D’Arpino hotel
