Bilateral French-Italian Workshop
\nGoing down to the microscale in multiphysics problems
\nFrom seismic driven risks to petroleum geomechanics

The workshop is organised by the International Research Center on Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (M&MoCS) of the University of L\u2019Aquila (Italy) in collaboration with the GDR MeGe, French Research Network in Multi-Physics and Multi-scale Couplings in Geo-Environmental Mechanics.
\nThis workshop proposes to gather a part of the Italy\/French community contributing actively in the field of Multiscale approach in multiphysics problems,\u00a0 in\u00a0 order\u00a0 to\u00a0 make\u00a0 an\u00a0 updated\u00a0 synthesis\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 most\u00a0 recent\u00a0 developments.\u00a0 Beyond\u00a0 fundamental contributions, a particular\u00a0\u00a0 attention\u00a0\u00a0 will\u00a0\u00a0 be\u00a0\u00a0 given\u00a0\u00a0 to\u00a0\u00a0 engineering\u00a0\u00a0 applications, from seismic engineering\u00a0 (involving\u00a0 soil\u00a0 liquefaction\u00a0 and\u00a0 bifurcation\u00a0 processes\u00a0 in\u00a0 a\u00a0 multiphysics\u00a0 context)\u00a0 to petroleum geomechanics.
\nThe workshop will be held in the historical city of Arpino, 100 kilometers south east of Rome, in Italy.<\/p>\n
