\nMetamaterials are materials specially engineered to have a particular physical behavior to be exploited for some well-specified technological application. Usually, they are conceived as micro-structured continua having a strong coupling between macroscopic motion and some internal degrees of freedom related to some micro-motions. A specific distinctive aspect of them is the possibility of having a “multiphysics” behavior that links the mechanics with, for instance, electromagnetics or with optics, and so on. This characteristic makes them complex systems to be designed and synthesized.
\nThe focus of the conference is on complex systems investigations, particularly metamaterials. The conference aims to invite an interdisciplinary research community working in the areas of modeling, mathematical formulations, and numerical methods for complex systems. Specifically, it is open to engineers, physicists, and mathematicians brought together around significant challenges in theoretical, experimental, and numerical analysis. The topics of interest concern advanced concepts in experimental and theoretical aspects involving metamaterials, nonlinear systems, and complex multiphysics phenomena, which will be the genesis of the next generation of 3D printing prototyping.<\/p>\n

\n– The conference will expect about 70\/80 presenters (all invited), organized in two parallel sessions with a standard slot of 30 min per presentation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
