School on
Models of Generalized Continua characterized by Quasi-Inextensible Fibrous Structures:
New Ideas for Models and Applications
19-23 September 2016, Arpino, Italy

The days will be organized in the following format: 2 hours of lectures in the morning on the themes of ET (Écoles thématiques), followed by a pause of 2 hours and seminars supervised by a senior, in a spirit of interdisciplinary. 3 hours of free time is scheduled for the afternoon of free scientific exchange (particularly around posters) and relaxation, followed by 2hrs classes / lectures of research.

Exchanges and return on seminars organized in the late afternoon and in some evenings.

Lessons provided by the trainers aims to introduce the themes of ET, then to promote exchanges by sharing time between presentation with support and discussion. Informal discussions during periods of free time (around posters) will enable participants to exchange information about their scientific interests and enrich their own vision of the concepts assimilated during this ET. Plenary sessions will also be organized to discuss on the seminars and make a report, to compare points of view.

Provisional timetable:

There will be the welcome to all participants on Sunday 18 in the evening. The presentation of the theme of the School, the relevant disciplines and the educational format. It will follow the individual presentation of participants and speakers.
