{"id":559,"date":"2018-10-03T11:19:57","date_gmt":"2018-10-03T09:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.memocsevents.eu\/iconsom2019\/?page_id=559"},"modified":"2021-01-12T15:15:24","modified_gmt":"2021-01-12T14:15:24","slug":"guidelines_presentations_iconsom2019","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.memocsevents.eu\/iconsom2019\/guidelines_presentations_iconsom2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Guidelines_Presentations_ICoNSoM2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center; font-size: 25px; font-family: Georgia;\">ICoNSoM 2019<br \/>\nInternational Conference on Nonlinear Solid Mechanics<br \/>\n16-19 June 2019,\u00a0Roma, Italy<\/h1>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center; font-size: 25px; font-family: Georgia;\">Guideline for Presentations<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: Justify; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong>For Oral Presenters<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">A technical assistant will be provided for technical issues.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">To avoid any incompatibility, each speaker will use his own Laptop for the presentation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">A Multimedia Projector and a SMART pointer will be available.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">We recommend all the presenters to equip themselves with the adapter for the projector.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">Ensure that you are available at least one hour before the session starts on the days of the conference.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">Send your final presentation via mail to the organizing committee address <a href=\"mailto:iconsom2019@gmail.com\">iconsom2019@gmail.com<\/a> by the last day of the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: Justify; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong>For Poster Presenters<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">The heading of the poster should be visible and it should include the topic, Author name and contact details.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">The letters should be visible at least from approximately 2.5 meters.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">Use simple format and more spatial layout with the good color combination.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">Use reader friendly icons and symbols such as arrows, numbers and etc.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">Avoid much as possible abbreviations and jargon. The highest clarity and visibility will attract the audience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: Justify; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong>Poster Size<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">If you wish to present your research via a poster, a poster presentation session is allocated. Each poster is displayed in one hour session.<br \/>\nDimensions for the poster in A0 format are: maximum height of 1189mm (46.81 inches) and maximum width of 841mm (33.11 inches); also a smaller size (A1) is acceptable. Please ensure that your poster does not exceed this size.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: Justify; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong>Poster Submission<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">Please ensure that you handover the already printed poster to the organizing committee at the registration desk the first day and provide the PDF file for the WEB archive by the last day of the conference.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: Justify; font-family: Georgia;\"><strong>Poster viewing session and Evaluation<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"font-family: 'Book Antiqua'; text-align: Justify;\">A time slot will be allocated for the poster viewing in the conference program and Please ensure that you stand by your poster(s) during that session for discussion and questions.
