SOURIAU COLLOQUIUM
63ème Colloque International de Théories Variationnelles (CITV)

Originally founded by Jean-Marie Souriau (www.jmsouriau.com and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Marie_Souriau), his doctoral students and friends, the Colloquium entitled SOURIAU COLLOQUIUM (formerly called “Colloque International de Théories Variationnelles”) provides today an informal setting to present and discuss the state-of-the-art and the most recent findings concerning Mathematics, Physics, Mechanics and their interactions.
The 63th SOURIAU COLLOQUIUM organized by Géry de Saxcé (Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille 1), Francesco dell’Isola (Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza, Università degli Studi dell’Aquila) and Lorenzo Zanelli (Università di Padova) will be held from June 30th (dinner) to July 5th, 2019 (lunch) in the historical city of Arpino, 100 kilometers southeast of Rome, in Italy.
It will be the occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of Jean-Marie Souriau’s groundbreaking book
« Structure des systèmes dynamiques » (www.jmsouriau.com/structure_des_systemes_ dynamiques.htm).
In his honor, a special issue of MEMOCS Journal «Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems» will be published
