The Fédération Francilienne de Mécanique
The Fédération Francilienne de Mécanique Matériaux Structures et Procédés, in short F2M, CNRS FR 2609, gathers twenty public research teams in Ile-de-France region, representing a potential of about 300 researchers and engineers, and even doctoral students. The F2M was created in 2004 and renewed twice in 2010 and 2014 after evaluation by the CNRS National Committee and AERES. Arts et Métiers ParisTech is the institution hosting the F2M and strongly supports its actions.
The Federation F2M thus contributes to strengthen the role of mechanics in science, industry and society. It was created by CNRS within the existing labs, and was acknowledged also by the ministry for education (…)
